I have these new pointe shoes, and no matter what I do, keep your heels slide! I tightened the strap, made sure everything is sewn in the right place, tied tight, pulled the cords, but they still slip off my heels when way in or do push-spring! you may be too small? (They're definitely not too big!) My professor suggested Razin (idk how written). What is that? How does it work and what do you do? our performance is in December! and the problem is that I lost my pointe shoes by above I can not just use those! aaah!
my friend has this same problem. what it does is sew a small loop of elastic in the back of his shoes edge. Then put the ribbon through the rubber band to keep the back of the shoes up. Hope that helps =]
