Shoes for babies learning to walk?
My baby is almost 9 months old and can walk fairly well, but not shoes. All you have is Jordan and he can not walk with them on. What are the best kind of shoes to walk in?
Inside the house, well use only socks or nothing at all. It is better for his development of his feet. Outside, however, he must have safety shoes. You may want to try something as Robeez or Pedipeds. Stride Rite, even has some good shoes for walkers in the first place. Depending on what areas are going to be walking on the outside determine you need to find unique-wise. The Robeez (and many knock-off brands) have a thick suede soles that can be used indoors or outdoors, and provides some traction too. For short walks in grass and smooth concrete as a driveway or sidewalk, you can go soft soles. soft-soled shoes have leather soles, but still provide protection to toe. Too much walking on rough surfaces, of course, plants carry out quick – but then the baby's feet grow too fast! 
For surfaces slippery as tile or hardwood floors in stores, you can go soft sole with rubber inserts (soft rubber at the ball and heel usually), very soft rubber throughout the sole, or leather-soled with little grip "points" throughout the single "For rougher surfaces like a walk in the street, you must stick with rubber outsole with a firm bottom, but remains flexible.
