What type of shoes are good for heel pain?

I waitress, and I have bad back pain, and heel pain in the foot, which I think they are related. I throwing a lot of lifting and spend many hours standing. Sometimes I get sciatic outbreaks. I need a shoe that will support the heel on everything. the pain is so uncomfortable that I actually walk on the balls of my feet all the time, which can not be helping my back … any suggestions? I've heard mixed reviews about Nike Shox .. I do not want to throw for 120 – in a shoe that will not help ..
